This week @ Klamath Free School

D-I-Y WEDNESDAY, June 27 -- 7 pm
MAKE YOUR OWN NON-TOXIC HOUSEHOLD CLEANERS.
Buy a few key ingredients, and you'll never have to buy corporate/chemical cleaners again.
Doing it yourself is safer, cheaper, and is a small step off the grid of corporate-orchestrated consumer culture.

THINKING THINGS THROUGH THURSDAY, June 28 -- 7:30 p.m.
DEMOCRACY OR PLUTOCRACY? INEQUALITY IN AMERICA
This is arguably the most important issue of our times. We will look at some data on wealth and income distribution, talk about some of the institutional structures and practices that produce a society organized and run by and for a wealth-based ruling class (plutocracy), and discuss the possibility of creating an economy and society organized by and for the people being governed (democracy).

PERMACULTURE STUDY GROUP - FRIDAY, June 29 -- 7:30 p.m.
We will meet and look over some books and websites on permaculture and decide if and how we want to organize an ongoing study group.
Permaculture is a system of designing human settlements and landscapes that aims to draw on or mimic natural systems in ways that create more sustainable households and communities.
More information on permaculture can be found HERE.

These events all take place at Green Way -- 249 East Main Street (between Gino's and Mills School).

Finally, we need to start creating the next calendar if we want to keep the Free School going. If you have any ideas for a class or discussion you would like to lead, or suggestions for where some small groups could meet for Free School events, please email!
